Five research roles divide the work; one lead integrates it. What separates them is remit, not rank. Disagreement is recorded, not smoothed away.

Roles

Five research roles

Role 01 · Market

Market

Calls the regime, volume structure and breadth; tracks the macro and external backdrop; states the constraints and the conditions that would invalidate the call.

Role 02 · Sector

Sector

Tracks industry heat, capital flows and rotation; identifies the main line, fading signals and directions to avoid.

Role 03 · Factor

Factor

Owns the factor library and the bar. Decides which regularities qualify for a formal view and which stay in observation.

Role 04 · Company

Company

Company-level research inside a chosen direction. This layer is not published: no ticker codes or entry conditions appear on this site.

Role 05 · CIO

CIO

Synthesise, resolve conflict, and state this period's boundaries and invalidation conditions. The lead does not erase disagreement—it writes the disagreement and the trade-off into the conclusion, so the reader knows under what conditions the view stops holding.

Human in the loop

The final decision stays human

This system is designed on the premise that it should not hold the final say. Research can be systematised. Accountability cannot.

Five AI roles make the research complete. One human decides whether to use it, how much, and when to stop. Kirin Focus design principle

The system owns

Collection and structuring, divided research, the validation bar, conflict records, boundary statements, post-hoc review.

You own

Whether to act, how much to allocate, how long to hold, when to exit—and every result that follows.
